To start off this update, the QLC team would like to thank the community for your continued support and contributions to our team. So, as of now, we are working on developing our current technology in Cross-chain swaps.
DeFi Update- QLC Cross-chain Swap
After the creation of the new MEF standard, which was initiated by QLC Chain, we plan on launching a new DeFi product! This new venture will be a supplement to our current financial services with the implementation of the new QLC ERC20 Token.
QLC ERC20 Token
The QLC cross-chain swap is designed to allow for interchain communication between QLC and the Ethereum DeFi ecosystem. If you’d like to swap, the QLC NEP5 Token and QLC ERC20 Token can be swapped at a ratio of 1:1 with no transaction fee. The entire QLC cross-chain swap system consists of the front end, NEO smart contract, cross-chain HUB, and Ethereum smart contract. The image below shows the process of the swap:
- When the QLC NEP5 Token is swapped for QLC ERC20 Token, the QLC NEP5 Token will be locked in NEO smart contract.
- When the QLC ERC20 Token is exchanged back to QLC NEP5 Token, the corresponding QLC ERC20 Token will be destroyed by the Ethereum smart contract.
- There will be no additional issuance during the QLC cross-chain swap process. The total supply of QLC remains unchanged.
- QLC ERC20 Token is not applicable to centralized exchanges.
